Customized Interpreter Matched for your Industry

Interpreter requests are viewed as unique and customized for those we serve. Our schedulers work hard to complete every interpreter request and in doing so, they curate a list of potential interpreters appropriate for the request based on interpreters’ skill levels, type of sign language needed (ASL, signed English, etc.), gender preference, and other special considerations. Then HASA schedulers contact that curated list to identify and confirm HASA independent contractors who would be the best fit and are available to work requests.

Our extensive network of nationally and state certified interpreters means that we can match you with an interpreter experienced in your field. Our interpreters are experienced working in medical, education, legal, government, and business environments. 

Our interpreters’ high-level of attention also includes maintaining HIPAA compliant protocols and confidentiality agreements so all work-related information is secure and confidential.

World-Class ASL Interpreters

HASA provides qualified interpreters who have mastered the communication and cultural competencies, as well as critical thinking abilities, needed to interpret effectively. Interpreters work between American Sign Language (ASL) and spoken English while exercising keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy.

Interpreters become certified by the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf. And HASA maintains a multi-layered quality control assurance system that exceeds industry standards. It is composed of three primary components overseen by multiple members of the HASA interpreting team:

• Pre-Assignment (testing, vetting of interpreters and certifications, analysis of request requirements)
• During Assignment (real-time assessment by trained interpreters)
• Post-Assignment (follow up, feedback)

The quality control process is dynamic and HASA collects and incorporates feedback from stakeholders into its procedures. This allows HASA to not only keep up with industry standards, but to also be an industry leader.
