Learning and using another language can greatly enhance your career and social opportunities- giving you a better understanding of other people and their cultures. Individuals can learn American Sign Language (ASL), and how sign language and Deaf culture intertwine, right in their own community. HASA, Baltimore’s only nonprofit provider of sign language interpreting services, offers community ASL onsite and online. We also work hard to bring our community sign language classes to your location- all you have to do is ask!

Adults can enroll in ASL classes to both learn ASL and explore the culture of that community. We offer non-credit ASL classes, from beginner to advanced, designed to meet everyone’s learning needs.

We pride ourselves on being a professional learning partner – our staff is available to assess your needs and craft training, workshops, and events that will help you expand your knowledge and support the d/Deaf community. Contact us at HASA@hasa.org so we can develop a tailored experience for you.
