HASA is uniquely positioned to support seniors during these vulnerable times. In FY20 HASA served a total of 469 senior citizens. Of the 469, 237 were low-income individuals who qualified for charitable care. It is important to note that HASA is the only clinical audiology practice within a 35-mile radius that provides a sliding fee scale for its patients who qualify based on the National Poverty Index. We never turn anyone away due to their inability to pay and are grateful for the continued support and generosity of our foundation partners to assist us in fulfilling our mission.
